From the moment I arrived at the charming walled gardens, it was clear that this was a wedding that was completely them. The day before their wedding, Liv & Olivia had picked and created their own wedding flowers, making everything feel wonderfully personal and beautifully imperfect in the best possible way. There was something so lovely about knowing that the flowers they carried and surrounded themselves with had been chosen and made by them.

And then there was the lipstick...
Liv & Olivia both wore Charlotte Tilbury's 'In Love With Olivia' lipstick — which has to be one of the sweetest little coincidences for a couple called Liv & Olivia! It's those tiny personal details that make photographing weddings so much fun, and this one felt particularly perfect.

​Their celebration at Pippley Walled Garden was intimate without feeling like anything was missing. Just a beautiful couple, the people they love, thoughtful details, lots of laughter and a whole lot of love.

As a wedding photographer, I especially love days like this. You don't need twelve hours of photography to tell the story of a wedding. Sometimes a few beautifully planned hours are all you need to capture the hugs, happy tears, laughter, portraits and all those little moments that you'll want to remember forever.
