Join me for a gentle, relaxed photo walk designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and rediscover the joy of simply noticing. This is not about technical perfection or capturing the “perfect shot” — instead, it’s an invitation to pause, breathe, and see the world around you with fresh eyes.
Guided by local Nottingham photographer Anna, this mindful photography experience encourages you to step away from the rush of everyday life and into the present moment. Through her thoughtfully created Mindful Photo Practice, you’ll be gently guided to quiet racing thoughts and tune into your surroundings in a more meaningful way.
Along the walk, you’ll be given a mindful prompt card and introduced to simple, creative photography exercises that inspire curiosity, awareness, and a deeper connection to nature. These activities are designed to help you notice the small, often overlooked details — the textures, light, colours, and moments we usually pass by without a second thought.
There’s no pressure, no rules, and absolutely no expectation of perfection. Just a supportive space to explore, create, and be.
This is also a lovely opportunity to spend time outdoors, meet like-minded people, and share a calm, creative experience together. Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply looking for a new way to engage with photography, you’ll come away with fresh inspiration, new ideas, and — hopefully — a renewed sense of calm.

Parking maybe busier than usual as BH so please allow enough time to park
TIME: 10AM - 11:30AM (1hr 30mins in total)
WHAT TO BRING:
All cameras, film & digital or phone cameras welcome.
No prior photo experience needed. Wear comfortable shoes for walking & mud.
Please feel free to bring a flask & snack with you.
There is a cafe & toilets too, where we will start & finish our mindful walk.
