Anna, what is an 'Outdoor Portrait Session' & is right for my dog?
A 30 min pooch portrait session at Ruschliffe Country Park is great fun for dogs that are well socialised and like to be running around off lead, chasing their favourite ball or happy trotting on lead. So it's fab way to get some action shots of your pooch in their element and I always get some portraits of you with your four legged friend & capture that special connection. Please note certain areas of the park do require dogs to be on leash, but there's plenty of dog friendly spaces, including a dog agility inclosure. There's some quiet woodland spaces too, which are great if dogs require fewer distractions or a bit of shade.
This sort of session is suitable for up to two dogs at a time and up to two humans.

Anna, what are 'Indoor Studio Portraits' & who are they for?
30 min pooch portrait session at my little home daylight studio. I keep it short & sweet and full of treats.
A fun way to get some beautiful portraits with minimal distractions while capturing that special dog + hooman bond.
It's also a great way to get some professional solo headshots of your pooch. Because they're indoors, they can also happen during the rainy cold weather season. This sort of session is suitable for one dog at a time and up to two humans. Please be aware that your dog needs some basic commands 'sit' & 'stay' are important for this type of session and it works well if you have a dog that will do anything for a treat.

**SUMMER BOOKING UPDATE**
Due to increasingly unpredictable weather and hotter summer temperatures,
I will no longer be taking dog portrait bookings during June, July, and August.
As a small daylight studio, I do not currently have air conditioning, and outdoor shooting conditions during these hotter months can also be difficult to predict and manage safely for dogs. The health, comfort, and welfare of every dog I photograph is incredibly important to me, alongside ensuring you receive the most beautiful and relaxed portraits possible.
The best times of year for dog photography are spring — when the blossom is in bloom — and autumn, with its rich colours and spectacular leaves. These seasons allow me to create the natural, timeless portraits my clients love, while ensuring dogs remain comfortable throughout their session.
With this change in mind, all Gift Vouchers will now have a 12-month expiry period. If you already hold a voucher, please be assured that I will honour it and make sure we get your session booked in, even if this falls outside the original six-month window. It’s still worth while getting in touch as soon as possible to book your future session.

Anna, what is you Puppyhood Portrait Package & who is it for?
One thing about puppy's, they don't stay little for very long.
So why not document this precious time with three portrait sessions of your beautiful puppy throughout the first year of
their life. Starting at approx 15 weeks old when they're fully vaccinated, again at 6 months old and finally at 1 year old to celebrate their first birthday. This is a really great option if you're getting or have recently added a puppy in your life.
These sessions are short & sweet and take place in my little daylight studio.
This sort of session is suitable for one dog at a time and up to two humans.

My Why... Lucy Heaton 4th May 2018 - 21st Dec 2020 Like a lot of families during lockdown we adopted a rescue dog called Lucy. She taught us so much during her time with us and I'm so happy we gave her a loving home. Sadly, we discovered Lucy had some major health concerns and we had to say goodbye to our beautiful pooch at the end of December 2020 after only six months of having her in our lives. Her time with us was fleeting but so precious and I'm so glad I took so many beautiful photos of her before she departed this life. One of the main things she taught me is, "We're here for a good time, not a long time"
