Why hello there, I want to take you back to a time before the global pandemic. For me personally the year kick started on a high, as I received my brand spanking new personal branding. So I decided to put together this blog post to showcase & celebrate the design process and how awesome it was to work with the extremely talented Joe Burley from JCB Graphix. When Joe sent through the folder with all the final designs, I was absolutely blown away & super stoked! This included a main logo, plenty of groovy kite marks, business card designs & a brochure layout that I could adapt easily myself. Not only was the quality of each design brilliant, but so too was the level of detail Joe had put in to ensure everything was clearly labelled and saved in different file formats, so I could easily use my new branding across multiple platforms. I've already had some lovely feedback so far from my peers, creative colleagues & clients and the general comment has been 'Anna your new branding is so YOU!' I can't recommend Joe enough. So if you're a creative business or a freelance like myself and looking for a unique personal branding experience, Joe is definitely the Graphic Designer for you! The Brief I contacted Joe as I wanted a freshen up & an update of my personal branding for my online presence & printed marketing materials, such as business cards & brochures. I was looking for a designer who not only understood my business’s identity, but my personality as well, to go on to create a unique personal branding package which would enable me to communicate this to my clients. The Process Joe made the whole process really smooth and made me feel like nothing was a problem or too much of an ask. Joe began the initial designs through hand drawn sketches and played with layouts and I loved that hands-on tangible approach and his appreciation for the analogue processes. It was great to see how the ideas formed and I felt really excited to see the development. Joe kept me informed along the way and offered his expert advice if I was ever unsure. I was then able to make decisions and have a clearer idea about what I wanted and what elements suited the look for my brand. I realised that communication is key throughout the process, so Joe knew exactly what I was looking for.
