Capturing this lively & energetic girl gang, really took me back to my own childhood days...
To the happy & carefree times when you could run wild with your crew of besties on their birthday. I've always enjoyed capturing the younger generations, as they don't quite yet have the self consciousness that comes with being an adult and therefore kids have the ability to express themselves fully in front of my lens with no inhibitions.
Isobel's Girl Gang went along with all my creative ideas with full gusto and they all started becoming art directors and coming up with ideas for the next shot. I think the images below clearly show how much fun we all had, despite the rain and wind!
"Oh Anna, the slideshow is so beautiful thank you! I’ve just had a little happy cry #hormones
We absolutely love the photos, we’re so lucky to have such a talented and lovely friend."
Leanne & Chris
"Anna this is incredible - actually had tears in my eyes watching our family slideshow.. You’re truly so talented! The pictures are fantastic and the music you've used for the slideshow is perfect. We're going to treasure these, just like we do our wedding pics. Thank you so much x"
Simon & Sharon
"Oh my word! You are so talented! They’ve made me cry.
Thank you so much!"

They say 'never work with children or animals', but I discovered this could be a winning combination at the Gordon Family photo session back in November.
With only a few more weddings left for the 2018 wedding season, it was great to be able to shake things up with a lovely autumnal family photo session. To see what the Hughes Family got up to, click 'read more' below.
It was great to do a fun, family photo session with the Godden family in the midst of the wedding season. I love being able to mix it up and work with families as well as couples. I'm really keen to do more family photo shoots, so if you're looking for some fun, vibrant & energetic portraits of you and your family please do get in touch!
A behind the scenes snapshot....
Last week I headed up north to Manchester, the city where my photography journey began back in 2010. That 'Beast from the East' certainly wasn't going to stop me from taking part in Anna Hardy's Family Photography Workshop - The Roost.
